A 4% increase in gas prices argues Beijing isn’t afraid of inflation
Today Beijing announced that it will raise prices on gasoline and diesel fuels tomorrow by as much as 4%. This would be the third price increase for these transportation fuels in 2010. The price increase will add about 0.07 percentage points to China’s consumer price index.
