Okay, we all know the technology and momentum heavy NASDAQ 100 is taken it on the chin recently. The index has dropped seven times in 13 sessions–and each time it dropped, the loss was more than 1%. But that’s nothing like the damage being handed out to former speculative favorites.

And on recent performance these stocks have been out gaining most of the big tech stocks. Like what stocks, you ask?
Today, Friday, December 18, the U.S. Department of Justice filed a criminal complaint against video-conference star Zoom Video Communications (ZM).  The charge is that a security executive with the company worked with the Chinese government to terminate Americans’ accounts and disrupt video calls about the 1989 massacre of pro-democracy activists in Tiananmen Square. The company also disclosed today in a blog post and a regulatory filing that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and two U.S. Attorney’s offices have been investigating Zoom for months.
